Rollers coated with rubber or polyurethane are used in a wide variety of agricultural machinery and vehicles: in potato harvesters and beet harvesters, for example, to protect the food during harvesting or on drive belts and straps, such as in round balers. Elastomers are used in the manufacturing process of rubberised rollers and offer many advantages. Depending on the application, we produce smooth rollers with a simple cylindrical outer contour or profiled rollers as well as rollers with crowned contours, also as segmented rollers.
We use the most suitable manufacturing process for the various types of rollers: we manufacture rubber-coated rollers in autoclaves, on rubber injection moulding machines or on polyurethane casting machines – depending on the material and requirements. Together with our customers, we discuss the production process depending on the intended use and adapt the material (e.g. PUR or rubber) accordingly.
In addition to rubberised rollers, we also manufacture pure steel or aluminium rollers for agricultural and industrial technology .
WE SUPPLY THE FIELD OF AGRICULTURAL TECHNOLOGY WITH:
- Rollers in lengths of up to 3,000 mm and diameters up to 250 mm
- Polyurethane coatings in hardness grades from 50 to 95 Shore A
- Rubber linings based on various elastomer compounds in hardness grades from 56 to 80 Shore A
- Rollers that we have manufactured ourselves from start to finish, including turning and milling of the journals and tubes, robot welding, surface pre-treatment, rubber coating and painting.
Selected materials:
We use metals such as steel, stainless steel or aluminium for the roller body. We produce elastomer coatings on a rubber or polyurethane basis. Other coatings on our rubberised rollers for agricultural technology are based on paint, galvanisation or a layer of hard chrome.

Before delivery, we put each of our rollers to the test. Depending on whether the rubberised roller was manufactured completely in-house or simply subsequently covered with rubber, we test all relevant parameters such as concentricity and dimensions – for quality you can rely on.
